Finance Perth Glory Player of the Year. Sam Sapienza is a dedicated fan
of the Perth Glory and is proud to be doing his bit to support his
local team. Sam hopes that the desire to win this prestigious
competition will spur all the Perth Glory players on to extraordinary
performances each week!
Perth lost 1-0 to Adelaide
in a tough Round 17 match. Glory was unlucky to not take any
points from the game after creating, but not converting, a number of
good chances. Coach Dave Mitchell was encouraged by the
performance but conceded that Glory will have to improve their
finishing if they are to score the goals to win the remaining
games and make the finals.
Perth continue the push to
make the finals in their Round 18 game away against Central
Cost on Wednesday (New Year's Eve). Kick off is at 4pm Perth
time. Be listening to 6PR to catch all the action.
